Competitions

Each season, the Kennett Symphony of Chester County holds two competitions for young artists.

The competitions, which are limited to 20 entrants, are held in the auditorium of the Kendal at Longwood community in Kennett Square, PA. A panel of three judges, including Kennett Symphony Music Director Mary Woodmansee Green, determines the three prize winners, who receive a cash award. In addition, the first prize winner receives an invitation to perform with the Kennett Symphony in the upcoming season.
